Within Indiginox, I spent quite a bit of 2008 consulting large companies and organizations around the adoption of Open Source and the establishment of communities within their organizations.
It was nice to be able to do some of that work in the UK as it allowed me to travel to parts of the world that still strike a certain chord – even though I’ve been away for so long.
Open Source and enterprise communities will remain important business areas for us in 2009 and we are in fact looking to expand on what we’ve been doing over the past two years. Hopefully that means I can also visit some interesting places, meet interesting people and help organizations understand the benefits of adopting an open strategy.
I’ll be in Nürnberg at the end of January for the Open Source Meets Business conference and interested in meeting up.
